My son recently received a great ACT result—composite 32, with 34 in both Math and Science—and we’re very grateful for the support he received from the team at Education 1. He has been working diligently with their tutors, and it really shows. The program offers a large and well-organized database of practice questions, which helped him build both speed and confidence. More importantly, the tutors don’t just go over answers—they take the time to explain the reasoning clearly and make sure students truly understand their mistakes. That made a big difference. We also appreciate how supportive they’ve been beyond just test prep. AP courses can be quite challenging, but with the tutors’ guidance, my son has been able to navigate the workload more effectively and stay on track. EducationOne was able to help my 10th grader tremendously. We started for help with Hon Pre-Calculus. The tutor was able to explain concepts better than the teacher and pull the grade up by 2 levels. That transitioned smoothly to SAT Prep since that's coming up the following year. I really like the fact that spend their 2 hours efficiently (first hour on homework & calculus, second hour on SAT and prep). They also provide Mock SAT exams. My 10th grader went from about 1300 Pre-SAT & mock exams to 1450 on the mock exam. That really came up pull her math score up by about 200 points. I think testing is the key to help the student get comfortable with the type of questions and simulate the environment. I think my student is as ready as possible for the SAT this Saturday. Update: she did score 1450. so the prep and mock exam are very good.
So happy to have found E1 and Ms. Susie, the director. She is so invested in all her students. We started my son, 11, during the summer so he can keep up with math and ELA and he have been very happy with his progress so far. He likes his teachers and the small group size. We also like the detailed progress reports that are sent out weekly.
My daughter absolutely loves her teacher Ms. Valerie, she is incredibly patient and responsible. We feel very fortunate to be studying at such a wonderful place!
